Process
Most projects move through these five stages, though no two follow them quite the same way. What stays constant is the team, and the attention to detail.

Questions
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Anything from a single piece of furniture to a whole building. Most of our work is whole-house renovation, kitchens and baths, built-ins and custom furniture, in Philadelphia’s rowhouses, lofts and older homes. More on our services.
Where do you work?
Philadelphia, the surrounding towns and South Jersey. For furniture and commissioned pieces, get in touch wherever you are and we’ll talk it through.
I already have an architect. Can you build from their plans?
Yes. We work from your architect’s drawings, raise questions early, and bring our own cabinetry and details to the job. More on ways to work together.
How much will my project cost?
It depends on scope, finishes and the house itself. The ranges on our contact form are a good starting point. Before construction begins, you get an itemized budget so you know where every dollar goes.
How long does a project take?
Design usually takes six to twelve weeks and pre-construction four to eight. Build time varies with scope, and we’ll give you a schedule before any work starts.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. Permits and approvals are part of pre-construction, so you don’t have to deal with them yourself.
What happens after I get in touch?
We reply within a few business days to set up a call. If it sounds like a fit, we visit the site and talk through goals, budget and timing.
